Philosophy & Why I Do What I Do

As an integrative and functional dietitian, I work with people just like you who want to improve their mental health and gut health. Whether you are dealing with an eating disorder, a damaged or difficult relationship with food, IBS, abdominal pain or bloating, depression, anxiety, or migraines, the right nutritional counseling can make all the difference in the world.

I believe that holistic health includes mental health, and that good mental health requires good nutrition.
I believe that health is deserved by all people, no matter their body size, shape, or metabolism.
I believe good nutrition should be about joy, not about restriction.
I believe the body has an incredible ability to heal and restore itself when we give it the right tools.
I believe that a healthy gut is integral to a healthy body and a healthy mind, and treating them both together can have powerful results - much more so than either one alone.
